So we had been told we would be getting updated badges at work for the last couple of years. We know things are busy and the people that handle that have a ton of stuff on their plates so we just smiled and waited to see when we would actually get them. Well... My boss handed me mine last week. It has an out of date title on it (got promoted, yay) and a photo I was none to happy to see.
I took a glance at my new badge and whined, "But boss! This picture is from 55 pounds ago!"
My boss, always a jokester, was not sympathetic. He cracked a grin and said, "So? So is mine... Just 50 pounds the other way." So, if you need me, I'll be over here, wearing my "new" badge and telling myself "This is fine."
