Finishing touches... Well... Sort of

We need to move upstairs but first we need to button up the downstairs. Not the finishing touches, necessarily, but making sure it is liveable without hazards. So here's some buttoning up photos. *This post may contain affiliate links and as an Amazon Associate and a member of other affiliate programs, I may earn a small compensation from qualifying purchases. The entryway:

The rug you see at the door is a "Notrax" type rug we got to help keep dust and debris from entering our house. You can see the one we got here: https://amzn.to/35xphNz The dining room area:

We plan on replacing the beige floor vent with a black or espresso one soon

The living room area:

We are loving the dark floors more and more each day!

The pantry:

Until I met my husband I never knew the insides of closets had to be painted as well. I guess I just assumed you were stuck with whatever came with the house. We painted the inside of the pantry and I covered the shelves with a hexagon pattern contact paper. I am actually really digging it without a door but I am sure that will go back up eventually.

Just like with our floors, the hexagonal pattern of contact paper I used is unavailable currently. But if you want to see what my second choice was, you can here: https://amzn.to/34jjb2v Onward to the upstairs!

Be well, y'all.
