My favorite things to buy on Amazon

I got to thinking (dangerous, I know) that I have been sharing stories and talking to y'all but there is more to life than just stories. Like everyday, mundane stuff that we all deal with. I decided to put together a list of things that I like to buy from Amazon in case anyone needs some suggestions. I do not use their autorefill feature, although I probably should. I like to keep a close eye on our spending. So I like to manually click the buttons every time. With the work we are trying to do on the house and, well, just life in general, saving money helps. Sometimes these things will not be the cheapest in town, but the cost coupled with the convenience of having them delivered quickly right to your door can make them the most cost efficient. Remember, your time is valuable too.

Toilet Paper
Yup, toilet paper. I have done the math. I have compared the prices. Compared to the stores we shop at locally it averages about $1 cheaper to order our toilet paper on Amazon than to pick it up on our weekly grocery trips. And they bring it to my door. I like that. We use Angel Soft: https://amzn.to/3knS8sQ

Razors
This is going to sound weird, but all three of us that live in this house full time use the same type of razor. No, not the SAME razor, just the same type. They don't pull on my husband's face like others can and they leave our legs and his face smooth. Yes, they're technically "women's" razors but we all like them. And my husband is secure enough to shave with a pink razor with no Fs given. We use Bic Soleil razors. We order them one eight pack at a time. See them here: https://amzn.to/3i7LFja

Pads
We have women in our house. Women have monthly cycles. Women use pads for said cycle sometimes. Or, as I read on Instagram the other day, Lucifer's Waterfall. Yup, I laughed too. We order Always Infinity FlexFoam with Wings. You always get wings, restaurant, pads, the air force, always get the wings. Men, if you are ever sent to the store for pads, always err on the side of caution and purchase the ones with wings. Just... Trust me.
These come three boxes to a delivery for a reasonable price right to our door. I call it a win. Shop these and more here: https://amzn.to/3kjlQPX

Glue Sticks
I go through a TON of glue sticks due to my mosaic art hobby with the medication vial safety caps. I have done the price comparison between my local hobby stores and Amazon and there is no comparison for buying in bulk. I order mini-size 4 inch hot glue sticks by the 5 pound box for just under $20 each. The manufacturer estimates each box contains approximately 495 sticks. That's a lot of sticks. And I need a lot, considering one single mosaic in a 16" x 20" size can use over a thousand caps. That's EACH mosaic. If you are a heavy crafter at all, no matter if you are making wreaths, door hangers, mosaics, or just need to permanently secure two items together frequently, I highly recommend purchasing these. They also keep for a long time in a cool, dry place. https://amzn.to/3ifUUxD

Supplements/Vitamins
Our youngest and I both take supplements and vitamins. (Always consult with your doctor before adding at supplement or vitamin to your daily regimen.) Some are more expensive than others, you have to do the math. Some, while may be the same price locally, can be ordered in larger quantities than you can find locally. This means longer time per bottle so less time shopping for them overall. Remember, your time is valuable too. Our youngest takes melatonin sometimes. She loves these gummies: https://amzn.to/36TsK6F

Dishwashing Pacs
We have a dishwasher. And no, I am not just talking about me. We do have an automatic dishwasher and it needs soap to clean the dishes. I have used loose powders and liquid detergents but I really like the convenience and simplicity and ease of the dishwashing pacs. You just toss one in the spot, close the trap door, and you're done. I actually used to buy the Dollar Tree brand pacs and really liked them. They worked well and they were about a dime each. But the store close to our house is hit or miss and if they were a miss then I had to pick them on our grocery run. Even the store brand at our grocery were about 20c each. I didn't like paying double! I looked on Amazon and found that their store brand is 12c each, a little more than the Dollar Tree brand ones but much less than the grocery store brand ones available to me. You do have to buy a big(ger) tub but it lasts almost three months so that saves you some time. You can see them here: https://amzn.to/3wK4sWQ

Dog Food
Y'all, this is my absolute favorite thing to buy on Amazon. We have two rescue pups and they like to eat. They like steak, fries, chicken, and, well, pretty much anything their hoomans are eating. Jax, our boxador rottie, has some itchy skin issues. Per our vet, we feed them grain free food. I know there has been some discussion about whether or not grain free food is good for dogs. We follow the advice of our vet who has treated our pups since we got them as babies. I advise you to also follow the advice of your trusted vet.
During quarantine our pups gained a little weight. Their dogtor (yup, I call our vet the dogtor) said most of her patients did. She advised us to feed them a weight management grain free food until we got their weight back down a little. We tried several and among them was the Solid Gold grain free weight management formula (https://amzn.to/3wNyzg5). It was the winner for taste (per the pups) and cost. But my absolute favorite thing about buying dog food from Amazon is they bring it to my door! I don't have to lift it into a cart, load it into my car, unload it from my car and carry it inside. The delivery driver puts the box with the 25 pound bag of dog food on my front porch and I just have to scoot it inside. I love telling people about this convenience, whether they shop our links or not! I want everyone to know this is a thing that actually happens, like, every time! It's so cool!

Those are my favorite things to buy from Amazon on a regular basis. There are others, sure, but these are the fast mover items our household uses. I hope these suggestions may bring some convenience to your life, opening up room for anything else you need or want to do. Small pockets of time add up quickly.
What are your favorite things to order? And where do you like to order them from? I am always looking for good suggestions!
Be well, y'all.
I like buying phone cases on Amazon. Sometimes it's hard to find ones I like in the store. (Android user)
