15 foot wall is now countertop all the way across with cubes and shelves underneath. We were NOT going to junk this room up like we did with the last one. (Famous last words, I know, but really we are endeavoring not to.)
We decided to have a print area, complete with printer, various papers, and other items. Then, to accommodate our plan to find a great big giant table for the middle of the room for all to work at, my husband suggested rolling carts. Let me stop here and say I LOVE rolling carts. They are so streamlined and easy to handle. They give me the illusion I have my life together. I tried to contain my glee.

First off, my husband MADE a rolling cart/station for our Cameo Silhouette. Yup, MADE it. Some wooden boards, casters (another name for wheels), and nail gun. That's all it took. And when he was done it slid right up underneath our wall/counter. Yahtzee!
Then I have the Gramercy cart from Michael's and you can see it in the 2nd and 3rd photo. All these nooks and crannies for my nerdy treasures. I'm so excited!
Finally he has a cart for his paints in his spray area. He had said it was difficult to stay organized when they are all standing straight up because he can't really see which paint is which. That gave me the idea of cutting the pool noodles in half and leaning the paint bottles on them. I kept them from rolling by separating them with push pins. For paints he doesn't use as much, those stayed in the holders on the lower shelves.
So that is what's rolling around our studio currently. Do you use rolly carts? Let me see! I am always looking for new ideas!
