Where were we?

Oh yes, the studio. We may never reach the "putting the finishing touches on the studio" stage, but we are making progress at least. My husband had long talked about getting a large table for the middle of the room we could all work on. Due to his diligence of research, he found one for $20 on Facebook Marketplace. We disassembled it, loaded it the back of my car, venmo'd the seller the money, and brought it home. You can see what made my steampunk heart happy in the photo of how the leaves go in. Those gears and chains were so cool. It was beat up, had some paint on it, and frankly, it was perfect for our purposes.

I have mentioned previously how our intent is to have almost everything in the studio mobile so we can move it around for whatever purposes we need at the time. Keeping with that idea, my husband got these industrial side mount casters made for a work bench and mounted them to the table. Now, with the flip of a foot (times 4), I can have the table mobile and move it all on my own. It is super helpful and convenient. If you want to check out what he got you can see them here: https://amzn.to/3sXGUQ5

The other little touch that I was excited about in this part of our reno is the cap sorter. Yes, that is a child's toy organizer with bins. And yes those are caps sorted by color family in them. This, too, will go on wheels soon. Casters, I never knew they were so versatile! If you want your own cap organizer, you can see the one I have here: https://amzn.to/3mXDeds

And, of course, no studio would be complete without a promo photo. My husband will say this is NOT the promo photo we will use for the studio. I say... "But why not?"

Be well, y'all.
